Say NO to Drugs..STOP Drugs...Report These Criminals

So, I happen to be working while i saw a Sticker on a Crane, which was promoting an Anti-Drugs campaign in Punjab.I got the details, so that i may share with  you all, as most of these things get Un-noticed ....But fortunately since i got them..let me share..

The campaign was started during Punjab Polls 2012 and eminent people were part of it..One such Eminent person is Advocate H.S PHOOLKA... He is the person fighting for Justice for Sikhs who died in 1984 Riots.
The movement has been named as Civil Society against Drugs.

The Sticker read 2 Mobile numbers for Reporting Drug abuse and Criminals propagating it, which i shall share with you.
Also, The Sticker said that "Names and identity of  People Reporting " would be kept a secret , which is very much essential part of stopping this drug menace as Drug pedllers are powerful people.

Kindly if you know about these Drug crime, try and report this crime. I myself have not verified the numbers, but i found this as a good initiative and so sharing it you all , incase you may need help in this regard in future.

PS: Though the sticker mentioned that the Identity of the person reporting would be kept a secret , I Shall still Suggest and Insist that you try and DO NOT USE YOUR OWN CELLPHONE AND REPORT IT THROUGH A PCO. Though they call it a Punjab initiative , incase you are from any other state and know about this Drug Business , try and report it here if you  cannot goto Police directly and they may take action and inform the local police then.



   

Cheap and Clean Stay at Punchkula below 1000 rupees Discovered!!

So, i happen to go to Pachkula for my SBI Interview.
Being an aspirant and not a job holder, i wanted to get a cheap hotel/lodging for the day.
Hotels in and around Sector10, were a bit expensive, one quoted me final rate of Rs 1900 (with breakfast) , but it was already 8:30 pm and i was to leave hotel by 10 in morning, i did not find it value for money.

So i moved on... Asking a Rickshaw wala for a cheap lodging nearby around 1000 rupees and he was good deal.

He took me to a residential area , around Sector 10.

I was scared a bit at night going to such lonely place alone, vary of any mishapp.

But he parked me right.

I got the Room for Rs 900/- for night.. If you try , you may get it for even cheaper....

The room , was a basic room with a double bed, a tv with cable , attached bathroom  with  geyser.

It was like a P.G accomodation we get around Chandigarh region.
