Well..so there is not Outlook Express either in VISTA or WINDOWS 7...
In vsita its windows mail and windows 7 has windows live mail..
Now how to transfer data from Outlook Express in XP to Windows Live Mail in
Windows 7.
First we follow the steps given in other websites..they are correct ..
On the computer running Windows XP, do the following:
1.The folder that contains the Outlook Express messages is marked as a hidden folder in Windows. To view this hidden folder, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Folder Options. Click the View tab, and under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
2.Locate the folder named Outlook Express. In Windows XP, this folder is located here by default: C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{your Windows user identity number}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.
3.Copy the Outlook Express folder and all its contents to the Documents folder on the computer running Windows Vista. (You can store this copy of the Outlook Express folder in a location other than the Documents folder, as long as you remember where to find it.) For information about how to copy a folder, see Copy files to another computer.
On the computer running Windows Vista, do the following:
1.Open Windows Mail by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Mail.
2.Click the File menu, point to Import, and then click Messages.
3.Click Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and then click Next.
4.Make sure Import mail from an OE6 store directory is selected, and then click OK.
5.Click Browse, find the Outlook Express folder you copied to this computer, and then click the folder once to select it. (Do not open the folder when you select it.)
6.Click Select Folder, and then click Next.
7.Click All folders to import all the folders, or click Selected folders and select which message folders you want to import, and then click Next.
8.Click Finish.
Now the important thing which you may not know and is very frustrating for amateurs and common people who hate changes coz they miss these simple but important mentions...HERE IT IS..
Well after you done the import step ...you would not still see your inbox messages in the inbox...but dont be frustrated they are there..
LOOK IN THE BOX OF IMPORTED FOLDER...BELOW THE INBOX...There if you open it...
it opens local folder..
and when you open local folder ...you see all your imported data..WALAAAAHH....

IMPORTED FOLDER--->LOCAL FOLDER--> INBOX,DELEATED ITEMS,DRAFTS....

HOW TO MAKE GAJRELA OR GAJAR KA HALWA
1)TAKE 1 KG CARROT/GAJAR.WADH THEM.
2)PEEL THE OUTER LAYER OF CARROTS/GAJAR AND GRATE THEM FINE.
3)HEAT 2 TBLSPOON OF GHEE,IF U HVE IN A BIG KADHAI AND PUT THE GRATED CARROTS IN THE KADHAI AND MIX THEM AND COOK IT FOR A 1-2MIN.IT WILL TURN DARK ORANGE.
4) NOW PUT 1 LTR MILK IN THE KADHAI WITH GRATED CARROTS AND MIX IT.
5)PUT IT ON A HIGH FLAME AND STIR IT REGULARLY.
6)AFTER SOMETIME,LOWER THE FLAME ,LET IT SIMMER AND KEEP IT STIRRING AFTER 3-4 MIN...
7)KEEP THE KADHAI ON FLAME AND LET THE MILK EVAPORATE.KEEP STIRRING THE MIXTURE REGULARLY.
8)NOW AFTER 3/4 MILK EVAPORATES,PUT ABT 3/4 TO 1 KATORI SUGAR IN IT.
9)MIX IT.AND CHECK THE SUGAR..ADD IF U THINK ITS LESS,BUT IF U TAKE 1 KG.IT WILL BE FINE I BELIEVE.

HAPPY LOHRI( 13TH JAN): HOW TO MAKE SOOJI/AATA HALWA OR KARAAH
SO TODAY IS LOHRI,FESTIVAL OF NORTH INDIA.
SO TODAY AWAY FROM FAMILY,BUT TO CARRY ON WITH SPIRIT OF FESTIVAL PREPARED HALWA OR AS THEY SAY IN PUNJABI "KARAAH".
1)HEAT A KADHAI AND EVAPORATE ALL THE WATER.
2)PUT 2 TBLSPOON OF GHEE.HEAT IT
3)PUT 1 KATOORI OF SOOJI AND ATA MIX(OR SOOJI ALONE OR ATA ALONE) IN THE KADHAI WITH GHEE AND STIR IT.
4)KEEP COOKING IT TILL IT GET GOLDEN BROWN ON HIGH FLAME ,CONTINUE STIRRING.
5)AFTER THAT NOW CAREFULLY,VERY CAREFULLY,FIRST PUT THE FLAME LOW AND THEN PUT 2-2.5 KATORIS OF WATER IN THE KADHAI VERY SLOWLY FROM NEAR THE KADHAI AND THE CONTENTS WOULD FLY A BIT SO BE CAREFUL WID THIS.
6)WHILE POURING IN WATER KEEP STIRRING IT CONTINUOUSLY BUT CAREFULLY..
7)HEAT THE MIXTURE NOW AND KEEP STIRRING SO THAT LUMPS AREN'T FORMED.OTHERWWISEE LUMPS MAY BE FORMED.
8)IF LUMPS FORMED,DDON'T WORRRY TRY AND PRESS THEM DOWN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE..
9)NOW ADD 1 KATORI SUGAR TO IT AND KEEP STIRRING.
10)HEAT THE MIXTURE AND AS IT STARTS BOILING..LOWER THE FLAME..
11)SIMMER IT FOR SOME TIME TO MAKE IT VISCOUS.
12)ADD BADAMS/DRY FRUITS IF U HAVE ANY( WE DIDN'T)!!
13) SERVE HOT AND REMEMBER US..
HOW TO MAKE DAL MAKHNI
1)TAKE 1 KATORI BLACK DAL.AND 1/4 KATORI RAJMA
2)PUT IT IN A COOKER.AND ADD 5-6 KATORIS WATER AND 1 TBSPOON SALT
3)HEAT THE MIXTURE AND AFTER 1-2 WHISTLES,PUT IT ON SIMMER FOR 20-25 MIN.
4)CHECK IF THE RAJMA AND DAL IS COOKED...IF NOT GIVE SOME MORE TIME ELSE TURN OF GAS BELOW COOKER.
5)PREPARE TADKA IN A KADHAI.
6)PUT THE CONTENTS OF COOKER IN THE KADHAI CONTAINING THE TADKA
7)LET THE KADHAI ON FLAME AND STIR FOR SOME TIME.
8)LET IT COOK FOR 5MIN.
9)PUT SOME BUTTER TO THE DAL.
10) DAL MAKHAANI IS READY.
HOW TO MAKE TADKA?
Now TADKA is a regular item to be used in almost all the dishees we make in INDIA...NORTH INDIA especially.
how to make tadka?
1)take a pan.turn on the flame and let all the water evaporate from the pan.(kadhai).
2)now put 1 tbspoon oil/ghee in the kadhai and heat it.
3)cut 2-3 onions into smaall pieces and put them into the heated oil in kadhaai.
4)now fry the onions till they turn golden brown.
5)put 1-2 chopped tomatoes in the kaddhai.
6)add garam masaala,haldi,jeera,and some salt and stir the mixture..
7)keep the flame low and mix the mixture for a couple of minutes till a fine smell of masala and other mixtures and paste like is formed in the kadhai.
and your tadka is prepared!!!! our gets this way :)

WHO ARE WE???
We are a bunch of students living in Pune,india and persuing our P.G.D.M .Since the slump in the market,we are awaiting our placement.Colleges is over for all practical purposes,our sallybus are done with and teachers have nothing more to teach us...So what we do......
We LEAN OURSELVES!!!..BUT NOT marketing,finance,telecom,hr but..........COOKING...
YUP....since Nov'09,we are sitting in our flats awaiting for goood offereings from MNC's...
but looks like they aren't hiring.....so till then they start hiring again.....what we do...we wait...
We sleep....we cook...we eat....and we sleep again to wake up for eating... :)
so from now on i shall be posting things we cook "OURSELVES"..give u recipes...
and share our tastes with you!!!.....
